My name is Sandi Reviakin. I am in the Lax Gibuu (wolf) clan and belong to xGwoimtxw’s House. As your Indian Registry Administrator I administer the Membership program for the Kispiox Band. I assist our members by recording births, marriages, divorces, deaths, transfers, name changes, adoptions and registrations on the Indian Registry Program. I gather the supporting documents and forward them to Aboriginal and Northern Affairs for processing. Entitlement is determined by the Indian Act.
As the Lands Manager I maintain all records with the most recent legal descriptions of all property located on-reserve. I am also responsible for recording and maintaining the personnel files. I just recently completed a two year program with the University of Saskatchewan and the National Aboriginal Lands Association and I am now a certified Lands Manager.
I enjoy working for our Band and providing services to our membership. If you have any questions regarding membership, lands or the upcoming election please call or drop by the office any time. I work from Monday to Friday - 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. No appointments are necessary but it is recommended you call ahead before you come in.
Maxwell Stevens is our Forestry Manager. He manages Kispiox’s forestry department under the direction of the Kispiox Band Manager and the Board of the Anspayaxw Development Ltd. Max is responsible for the general planning, organization and implementation of short and long term operational programs in the silvi-culture department. He prepares bids on forestry contracts with the Ministry of Forests.
Max also supervises the contracts for road construction/maintenance and submits bids for contract work with the Ministry of Transportation and Highways for road maintenance.
In addition he also oversees the Economic Development program on behalf of Kispiox Band under the direction of the Band Manager and Band Council.
Hello my name is Merci Harris. I was recently hired as the Social Development Clerk. I assist the social development worker by performing duties and responsibilities which include not only eligibility-testing for social assistance and the payment of allowances, but may include a wide range of activities of a social and economic development nature.
As the social development clerk I maintain a confidential file on each client which is to include case recordings and copies of all required forms in connection with application for assistance, correspondence regarding the case and records of all disbursements of funds, including amounts and purposes.
Merci also assists with completing reports for submission to Gitksan Government Commission and to Aboriginal Affairs And Northern Development Canada with copies retained in the band office.
My name is Gwen Johnson. I was hired as the Kispiox Band office receptionist in August 2013. I am the first person to meet and greet you.
My duties include answering phones, filing, faxing and photocopying, assist the Finance and Social Development Departments. I also attend the monthly meetings and prepare the minutes for our Kispiox Band Council.
I maintain the office supplies inventory and order supplies as needed. I assist with the Kispiox Community Hall and ABE bookings and appointments for various department.
Melanie is the Social Development Worker for the Kispiox Band.
She administers the social development department on behalf of the Band. She works closely with the GGC to ensure that all policy and guidelines are met when administering the program.
Hello, my name is Wanda Brown; I was hired in January 2013 as the Kispiox Gas Bar Bookkeeper. I am now the Kispiox Band Finance Assistant. My main duties include processing payroll; ensuring accounts payable’s are paid on time and accurately along with trying to streamline procedures effectively and efficiently. Other duties include data entry and reconciling accounts for the general ledger in the accounting program. I have also been given the opportunity to perform a few Administrative tasks. I enjoy the tasks given to me and try my best to complete them as quickly as possible and as precisely as I am capable. I am willing and more than capable to learn new methods and procedures and enjoy doing so on a daily basis.
I will be working hard to learn everyone’s name and face in the community and it feels I’m off to a good start in that area. I hope to enjoy working in the community for a long time to come.

Hello everybody ! I joined the Kispiox Band Administration and Kispiox Village in late November 2015 as a Finance Manager. I am administering the village's finance, budgeting, reporting and also assisting and participating on Kispiox economic development activities. My goal is to rejuvenate our beautiful village, to bring in more sustainability, local employment opportunities and achieve a vibrant and active community while staying on a healthy budget. I thank our Administration team, the Council and our village members for their tremedous support to make it happen.

I’ve been hired by the Kispiox Band since July 2016. I bring 8 years’ experience as a band manager for First Nations. Have a bachelor’s degree applied in Finance/Management, diploma in Business Administration, and various other certificates. I first started working for a 3rd party manager that gave me insight as to working under the policies and procedures of INAC. I oversee the daily activities within administration, and work closely with all the departments. Wilp Wosim’ La’ Ha’, Gisgaast (fireweed).
